Electronic Sucking Program Network

...is the new name for the call letters ESPN.

I tried to watch the Denver-San Francisco NFL game tonight, but there was hardly any football to watch. Mostly, my screen showed the three Men in Black suits blathering. Yes, they can REALLY blather on about stats, personalities etc, having a truckload of historical data and a producer to feed it to them.

Here's a clue, ESPN: When I turn on Monday Night Football, I expect to see a football game. That means every play which can be shown, and replays of most of them. I don't care to see Ms. Tafoya flirting with posing players on the sidelines for five minutes at a time, and I especially don't want to hear another word, EVER, from Kornheiser, the worst "color" guy ever in a broadcast booth. Two Men in Black in the booth is plenty.

ESPN, if the format I saw tonight is the model you are going to use for the rest of the season, I will probably not watch any more of it.

The Game is Football, ESPN, not bullshit. If I want bullshit, I can always turn on Fox and get Bill O'Reilly.
