The Virtual Aircraft Museum. Finally! Someone has taken taken Jane's out of the bank vault, where it has hidden from me for years (yes, yes, I know I could go to my Central Library and use it) and put a better effort on the 'Net, for FREE!
The Virtual Aircraft Museum is super easy to use, everything flows from that index page, and from there to the country pages, and each country has a page(s) that encapsulate it's aircraft produced (by manufacturer), and each one of those that you open is full of information and links.
For example, I opened the Brazil page, and there's one manufacturer, Embraer. I clicked on their first aircraft, the Bandieriante, and opened that page, and a well-written but not overly technical essay about the airplane and it's development and deployment opens, then all the technical specifications, then experts on the airframe are linked, then there is a comment section.
The team that built the Virtual Aircraft Museum has done the best organizing job of it's kind I have ever seen on this Internet.
