These scientists say that yes, man can and probably DOES cause Global Warming, and it is a very good thing that Man can do that, because we're facing a global Ice Age, one which may already be in progress, and we have to thank this Anthropogenic Global Warming which is currently modifying the onset of Global Cooling.
Very interesting, and it confirms science that was projected almost 40 years ago on the subject of Global Cooling. The science-based evidence of our carbon-loading the atmosphere should indicate a much higher rise in sea levels, a rise which has not occurred, if we were still in a warming period.
What these scientists say is that if we are successful in limiting carbon, and if there is growth of the wetlands/peatlands as expected, we are dooming our civilization to an earlier Ice Age onset.
The one thing the synopsis of the paper didn't say (because it's politics, which rightfully, have no place in science) is that all carbon-control should cease immediately, and nations or states/provinces which insist on carbon control are now liable for the more rapid onset of the Ice Age.
How long before an environmental lawyer makes THAT tort known in a filing?
I'm not holding my breath, because too much politics is riding on too little science with the Global Warming crowd.
