Guvner Tubby of Joisey is so FUBAR, it's hard to find words. With line crews coming to NJ from everywhere, mostly as volunteers, Tubby got on TeeVee and threatened them if they didn't fix the damaged grid according to his timetable. "They'll have to answer to me", he thundered. Fuck you, Tubby, and the six horses you rode in on.

UPDATE: 11-04-12 0707 PST: See commenter Lergnom's news flash, below. I'll take Lergnom at his word, and this makes Tubby into not only FUBAR, but likely a corrupt asshole to boot. If Tubby turned away the non-union line crews, the ONLY reason he would do that is if some campaign cash depended on it. If he was a conservative as he claims to be, he would have welcomed the non-union crews in and even promoted their work. If it was a Federal rule that only union crews work, he should have gone anti-Obama with that and stated that he wanted them to work, but FEMA wouldn't allow it. He didn't mention it being a FEMA rule. This is political corruption of the worst sort, but he'll get away with it, because he's a Democrat in Drag. No GOP pol will hassle him too badly because the GOP establishment doesn't want to admit that he (and Bloomberg) are not actually Republicans, and the (D)onks won't go after him either, because they get that same cash from the IBEW and the Hoisting and Portable Engineers' Union. In case you forgot, Tubby vaulted himself (correction, had himself vaulted, he couldn't manage the leap) onto the conservative stage for gutting the Public Employee's unions in Joisey when he first took office. As I said at the time, that was a false flag, because he turned right around and welcomed a budget-busting pay increase by other big unions, notably Dock Workers. Now this. All Tubby did was publicly gut one small chum-fish, but he let the big sharks remain in his waters. That's NOT anti-union. and he has now confirmed AGAIN that he's not anti-union. You don't suppose that he tried to put the muscle on the public employees for a big campaign contribution when he was running for Guv'ner, and they told him to piss up a rope, so he went after them? Every Republican or independent Conservative who was taken in by Tubby the one-note Tuba ought to be ashamed of themselves. Chris Christie is a liberal, and an asshole liberal to boot.
I think if I was on an incoming line truck on my way to help and heard that, I'd find the first good turn around and head for home. When I got back I'd send an open letter to the papers in NJ telling them why they can take their Socialist Paradise and Tubby the One Note Tuba and shove them where the Sun doesn't shine. Then I'd send Tubby a bill for fuel, lodging, food and time loss from my job with copies to the NJ legislature and media outlets.
