Let me see here (shuffles paper on desk). Who did I assign to keep watch on the Elmer Fudds?
Ratz! Seems I've overlooked that assignment up to now.
Just for s***s and grins, do any of my regular readers belong to any of those Fudd bulletin boards (sorta like the opposite of what ARf-commers have going)?
WHAT! I guess I fairly well DO have to explain everything around here: an "Elmer Fudd" is a gun-owner who believes the Second Amendment exists so that they can have their choice of guns for offing their particular flavor of game animule. It is understood that you never utter the word "militia" to a Fudd, because even though they might remember that said word exists in the Second Amendment, it was obviously put there as a mistaken diversion, since God and Everyone knows we only have guns for hunting animules according to season, and perhaps for chasing the occasional baddie away (can't SHOOT one, they don't have tags for that). Of course, Fudds will refuse to even consider that the Second Amendment was put there so that a putative (potential) Militia might be available with which to un-form the Central Government should that become necessary.
Seems to my dimming memory that the Fudds were dragged into the fight for the last AWB by the gun-banners, as Useful Tools with which to blunt the power of the NRA in that fight. It worked then, too, the '94 AWB passed by two votes in the then-(D)-controlled House.
So, to re-issue the inquiry, what has happened to the Fudd groups? Have there been any new FFFs set up (False Flag Fudds) such as we had last time? If so, someone clue me in on them, please. If not, we can probably safely hold our breath on that and we won't turn blue before Bloomie or one of HIS stealth bagmen funds a FFF or two.
