...when did Olin quit making .22 LR ammo? Just curious how old this CMP stuff I ran across really is.

Heh! Yeah. Olin .22 ammo. It's military contract ammo, mainly made for folks who shoot .22LR in training. From all accounts it is very good target ammo, but you won't see it on the civil economy, until a batch is declared surplus and makes it to a bidder.

But, it's good stuff. Easily as good as any target ammo you'll find on the market.
