A Facebook account named Veteran Amputees has had it's photos censored off the page by FB Admin, because, it is claimed, that the account violates "community standards". Would those "standards" be there to remind the world that some gave all, and many gave their health and vitality, to keep the world free of IslamoFascism? Doesn't appear to be the case. Apparently Mark Zuckerberg thinks that HIS leftist, anti-war "standard" trumps the best of Western Civ. Fuck you, Zuckerberg. You get today's Effinger Award.
Here is a substitute page. Pass it on.
Here's the photo from that page, converted from Zuckerberg format to .JPG:
Carry On, Corporal. We've got your Six.
08072013 1155 PDT: My original Facebook source for the above picture just had the picture deleted off his timeline.
The Game Is On! I'm going to get this tweeted and reblogged, BRB!
08072013 1200 PDT: just contacted a Tea Party honcho, and AFP leader. She will tweet this out to her 2,000+ followers....the Referee just lost his flag and whistle, it's time to Pile On, People!
08072013 1230 PDT: Facebook just launched a script at my page....a dot scr file. My Trend Micro Browser Guard v. 3.0 jumped on it and fought it off for 6 minutes, but the fight was a draw, so I had to force-close the browser and the Browser Guard. VERRRY INTERESTING.
08072013 1306 PDT Just contacted by paid-geek son, relayed my tactics. He says I ought to be able to count on Trend Micro. He also said that if this little war goes truly National, the FB guy who decided to enforce the "community standards" against wounded vets will get tossed under the bus by Zuckerberg. Next tactic...contact some milbloggers, try to enlist them in the fight...
08072013 1419 PDT Nothing new last hour. Standing down for a bit.
08082013 0913 PDT A decent interval has passed since this little dust-up. FB has taken no further action against me. Looks like maybe this instance of their boneheaded "community standards" got some higher-HQ review, and was found wanting.
