Ironbear

That's too bad. Condolences on your loss, Rivr.

When we moved to where I live now, I lost our big Tiffany mix to a coyote, and my Russian Blue tom to a kidney infection within a short space. The Russian Blue was one of those rare cats that gets to be a "buddy cat", almost from when he was a kitten. Took me awhile to recover from the loss, so I know how you feel.

My condolences, RD.

When you are able to think about a new shipmate, let me know. I have a very good resource for deserving candidates in your area.

I'm sorry to hear Snowflake passed away, Rivrdog. He did his best to his last, and he's got a comfy cloud to lounge upon now.

As for the harp and the wings, he batted them away and opted for the catnip mouse instead...

Dear Rivrdog - As the proud companion of two 18 year-olds, (you never "own" a cat ... they merely allow you to accompany them), I grieve along with you. I'm already seeing the beginnings of the long fade. Sail on little Snowflake. The best to you, sir, and the rest of your crew, Terry

Sorry to hear about that, RD. He had a good long run, sounds like he had an interesting life too.

Sorry to hear about Snowflake. He was one of the most beautiful cats I had ever seen.I remember when you got him from Varie.(believe he was the last of the litter still living).

Fair Winds and Following Seas to your faithful feline. Good first mates are hard to find.

Light & Dark

Sorry you've lost such a fine companion.

Godspeed, little crewmate.

So sorry to learn of your loss. My oldest cat is 17, so this is truly a "feel your pain" moment for me. Some of us don't even have our children that long - before they leave home, that is.
