After re-reading my essay several times, I came to the conclusion that I left something out: I left it to be understood that "freedom of the press" was meant to be freedom to report the facts, not freedom to twist the facts into fiction then report them as the truth.

Considering the condition of public education in this gullible nation, maybe I should have put that in the title, for any readers that don't get past the title of essays in their efforts to educate themselves.

For them, the title would have been:

"Is the Media 'yo Daddy?"
