The Occupation Party

....just doesn't fly as a party name. First of all, and most obviously, there aren't a lot of occupations represented in the mobs. My guess is that fewer than 20% of the mobs' make-up at any particular time is employed.

For older folks, "Occupation" beings back painful memories of depressed, beaten countries, although this crop in the streets would hardly have been a sparkle in their parents' eyes when the last great "occupation" (eastern Europe) ended.

So, I've continued my search for a better reference to the mobs.

I think I've found it, on a comment at NetRightDaily.com:

Yep, it fits. In fact, as Sergeant Provo in "Green Berets" would have said, "it sings".
