I hear the the Crazy Fat Boy shot off another missile which flew over the Japanese land-mass in the past day. Ho-hum. Crazy fat-kid's toys, he will play with them, right?
Japan did something wrong, very wrong. They activated their National self-defense. They ducked and covered. They stopped schools and factories. What's wrong with that, you say? Everything, I say.
The little fat kid is going to keep doing this. All good estimates of his faulty thinking tell us that he will. Those same guesses tell us that he is a bluffer. He knows that the USA has the nuclear forces to destroy everything of military and strategic value in his pipsqueak country at least 50 times over. He also knows that once we begin a process of destroying the House of Kim and his insanity, we will not stop until he IS destroyed.
The little shit is simply testing our will, looking for weak points which he might exploit to bring out a greater fear in us, and then he will use that fear to extort the USA for food shipments to keep his people (barely) fed, while he gives all the food HE grows to his bloated military. This extortion game is what his family of rogues has been doing to the USA for three generations now.
Let's look at the history book.
When the Japanese, who had held the Korean peninsula on and off, mostly on, for generations, was finally defeated, the Communists, the USSR and China, decided that the Korean Peninsula was the place where they would test our then-nascent policy of "containment", which basically granted the Reds the territory they held after WW2 when they were our "allies", and USA would fight any new expansionism. Our war leaders, fresh off their winning of WW2, decided on that theory after the USSR ate up all of Eastern Europe and after Mao pushed the fractured Nationalist Chinese dynasty off of mainland China and onto Formosa. That delineated all of the commie territory until the mid-50s, when the French gave up their colony of Viet Nam after more Red pressure and then we decided to fight THAT Red expansion, but dicked up that war badly, and lost it over the next 16 years.
Back to Korea. After a couple of years of hard fighting 1950-1952, the USA (carrying a UN flag then), pushed the Reds back to the 38th Parallel, where a formal truce was signed which supposedly exists to this day. South Korea then became an economic and insustrial powerhouse, rivalling the Japanese, who we helped rebuild after our victory over them in 1945. Various peacenik Presidents and Congresses here since then have said that the economics would eventually unify the Koreas, we didn't need a military solution, but that hasn't happened and will not happen, because of the crazies in the House of Kim.
So, the History Book closes for now on the present. Lil-shit Kim has missile tech, actually that tech is about 40 years old, but getting more modern thanks to the world's other major Rogue Regime, the Mad Mullahs of Iran, whose oil revenues have brought their missilry into at least the 90's as to technology. Ours is till mostly stuck in the 90s, not because we don't have the rocket science, but because we lack the will to build better weapons.
In the meanwhile, we have allowed the Lil-shit to keep firing his missiles, guaranteeing that he gets to IMPROVE his technology. His tech is that of liquid-fuelled rockets, and he has that tech to about as modern as it can get. His next work will be in solid-fuelled missiles, like most modern missile-armed nations possess now, and have for 30 years or so. With solid-fuelled missiles, he can build silos all over North Korea, leave the missiles in them, and be as much of a threat as our Minuteman and Peacekeeper missiles are in THEIR silos.
If we let the Lil Fat Shit get to that point, he will be able to inflict severe damage with a larger barrage of missiles than he can now. He probably can't loft more than three long-range missiles now before our counter-strike terminates his regime, With Great Prejudice. In DeeCee, we seem to believe that we can soak up that first attack, so our official position is that he is not worth starting the war over right now.
We could be wrong about the House of Kim now, though. We've been wrong about it before. From my not-so-hmble strategic mind comes the notion that NOW is the time to strike the House of Kim, not later when he is better armed.
Yep, a pre-emptive strike is clearly called for here.
