We need "Stand-Down" for our homeless Veterans

I only made Major in the USAF, and was only a Staff officer for a few months (OpsPlans, 22d Bomb Wing), but I have an idea which needs to be Staffed at the highest levels to become a Plan.

 

President Trump, my Commander-in-Chief, will you get your JCS on this?

 

"Stand-Down" is not a new idea, it's been done locally for at least 30 years that I know of, but it's too limited. Here's how it needs to work and who it needs to reach:

 

On most of our active-duty military bases, and some Reserve bases as well, there are usually barracks/messing facilities sitting under-utilized or empty. There are Medical capabilities going unused. the Military has to have this extra capacity in case of sudden mission-requirements.

 

What if @POTUS ordered the Military (all branches) to develop a two-week "Stand-Down" program and transport in the homeless veterans to participate in it? During the shorter-weekend-only Stand-Downs offered locally, a local Reserve Unit usually sets up a small "tent-city" and basic clean-up, spiff-up and meal service is provided to homeless Veterans. There is usually VA contact available at those. It's a great idea, but it's missing a few major elements to pull it into a major success story:

 

1. A program like this needs more time, not just two days.

2. A program like this needs to be able to use permanent, modern facilities.

3. A program like this shouldn't be a "one and done" thing, it needs to be offered year-around, until all the homeless veterans are given the opportunity to participate.

4. If my 'net research is accurate, there are just over 40,000 homeless veterans on our streets. Ten would be too many.

 

There are 420 active-duty military installations, so if half of them were to start up my "Stand-Down" program, they would only have to host 200 homeless veterans in a year to get the mission accomplished. Easy-peasy, as they say in the South.

 

Why hasn't this been done, Mr Trump, sir?

It was a helluva fight...

The R2KBA, and why there will be WAR to protect it

I get up, trot down the companionway to the Mess Deck, find da wiff asleep in front of Misogynist-NBC. A headline blares: "Trump finds big mental health problem in gun violence". While I'm pouring a BIG cuppa Joe (with her, if the day starts with MSNBC, it's gonna be a LONG day for me, need BIG coffee), the femolly mouthmessers start talking Backgroud Checks which are Registration (yes, the Left now admits that Registration is a goal, presumably on the road to Prohibition and Confiscation).

 

I take the first sip of the hot coffee, and the "scales fall from my eyes" (Acts 9: 1-22). Why YES, they probably HAVE cited the Trumpster correctly for once. There are ONLY three mentally healthy cases for gun violence: self-defense from lethal attack, organized warfare, and violence committed on food animals, i.e. Bambi. All other violent uses for firearms are mental aberrations, and should be prohibited, but WAIT, there's more.

 

Mentally aberrant gun violence IS already prohibited, in fact, in most places, you may not even fire your gun except for one of the three above cases or upon an organized shooting range. Can't fire it, it harms no one, right?

 

WRONG! The very EXISTENCE of guns is violent, claim the gun-grabbers, because the FACT of a gun's existence EQUATES to violence, in their not-so-humble opinions. It is MIND-VIOLENCE, or terror that they describe. MY guns cause them to be terrorized. Because.

 

Summing up the "Gun-Grabber Philosophy", we find that:

1. All guns are evil, all the time, PERIOD.

2. All guns WILL be FOREVER evil, no good can ever come from a gun.

3. By extension, all those possessing or bearing arms are EVIL, so it's logical to pre-empt their EVIL by restraining them.

 

My friends, I try to live my life appreciating, learning and practicing LOGIC, which is the DEFINED "normal" mental state of mind. The ILLOGIC presented by the anti-gun people is astounding in it's ABNORMALITY, as is the potential for terrorism on the part of the gun-grabbers towards a significant part of our USA's population (the gun-owners).

 

Far from PREVENTING gun-violence, the gun-grabbers actually PROMOTE it by attempting to overturn our God-Given and Constitution-encoded Civil Rights.

 

Sadly, this leaves us only one choice, if the Left manages to convince a fairly decent President Trump to encode more gun-banning even before the Left has a political right (gets elected) to do that.

 

That choice is to declare organized warfare upon the gun-grabbers, to protect our Constitution and it's orderly society from their planned (and now OPERATIONAL) anarchy and disorder.

 

Desist, gun-grabbers, or suffer the consequences of the prevention of your intended destruction of my country. I'm SWORN, on an Oath backed with my very blood, to prevent what you plan for and now show you intend to do to my country.

 

I am sworn to war with the gun-grabbers, and so is every other Veteran. We ARE the #TenMillionRifles.

Gun control in World History

Now that the Democrat Marxist Party has decided it's now or never to toss our Constitution, their choice to do that is Gun Control, and within that choice, the Red Flag Law (ERPO). ERPO is nothing less that changing the very definition of gun ownership to community-based gun ownership. There history here, so let's look at it.

BTW, history repeats itself because few people are smart enough to develop new ideas.  Keep THAT nugget in mind, it's vital here.

 

Case in point: gun control. It was started by Statists, who even then had a vision of Marxist world domination (See the rapid spread of the 1917 Red October Revolution from Russia to all over Europe).

 

That Revolution succeeded, put Marxists in power in a large, but poorly-organized country, Russia. Marxists showed how good they were in organizing a huge new Statist government to run their huge country.

 

The first thing Russia did was disarm their population, to prevent a counter-revolution. Notice that is exactly opposite to what OUR Founders did after winning our Revolution against the British? We insisted that our countrymen be armed!

 

Along came the Great Depression, which Wall Street Investment bankers started because they were greedy (See: Goldman, Sachs and their "margin buying" of equities). During the Great Depression, robber-gangs arose and preyed on the banks, so reviled because they were blamed for the Depression, and therefore easy targets: who gave a rip if a bank was robbed?

 

In the depths of our Depression, we stupidly elected a free-spending liberal President, FDR. He WAS a smart guy, and looked around to find the support for his liberal Administration, one well Left of anyone else's so far in our history.

 

FDR looked at Russia, saw the organization, the determination to succeed of the Soviets (he ignored the misery the Soviets were causing). He looked at Germany, the failed Weimar Republic there just being replaced by the National Socialist Party, with Hitler being appointed Chancellor in late October of 1933.

 

As FDR looked at both examples, one thing jumped off the pages at him: gun control. Along with jawboning some hope back into the USA, FDR decided to do Gun Control, since he had a ready excuse: the robber-gangs. His idea worked, and the track was laid for the Left to ride the Gun Control Train all the way to NOW.

 

The Gun Control Express has FOREVER been the mode of Liberals showing their "decisiveness". They're still at it.

 

Now, the end of the Gun Control tracks is in sight, though. There is no more railroad to the future for the Left, and they have determined to kill the 1A, the 2A and the 4A with one fell swoop, so they advocate community-approved gun ownership be the model for the 2A. If ALL your family and neighbors approve, you may own guns, but if even ONE objects, your guns are taken away. That's the Red Flag Law*.

 

People, we stop Marxism in it's tracks, NOW, or it WILL swallow us up, in months, not years or decades. If we DON'T stop Marxism now, our Constitutional Republic is dead. The first few Amendments of the Bill of Rights IS the Bill of Rights, and the Bill of Rights IS our Constitution, all else which follows is simple process.

 

When we lose the Bill of Rights, we have lost the United States of America.

The USA vs the New World Order

(Same old conflict, different era)

Our Federal Constitution is anti-New World Order. By DESIGN.

 

When our Constitution was promulgated, there WAS a New World Order, the British Empire. Their Navy ruled the world's seas, their armies vanquished all they faced. It was His Majesty's Way or no way at all.

 

The Founders rejected the hegemony of the British Empire, formed a SEPARATE government with ELECTED, not ENTITLED leaders, and fought the King's armies to a standstill and ultimate victory at Yorktown.

 

The Founders did one more thing though. Knowing that Royalist feelings still ran high on these shores, and deducing that their new Popular government would eventually have to face Royalists again, the Founders gave that new American population the right to possess arms for DEFENSE AGAINST GOVERNMENT, should our Government try to go back to Royalism (the NWO).

 

The Second Amendment to the Constitution is NOT an anti-crime law, crime as we know it today was unknown in the Founders' day. The 2A was a check on the power of the Government, purely and simply. If that Government caved to the NWO, it was to be REMOVED. As such a bulwark, it was VERY anti-New World Order.

 

It still IS anti-NWO, and THAT is why the NWO, through all their proxies (D-Rats, Antifa, global Marxism in general), CONSTANTLY tries to weaken and remove the 2A.

 

This is just my opinion, but I do not believe we have budged the NWO on their opposition to the 2A at all. They will keep trying to remove it and grab all our guns, because they KNOW that they can't take over in this Nation until they do. Furthermore, following my logic here, the ONLY way the NWO will ever be defeated is like it was 241 years ago, on the field of battle.

 

Sorry to burst your bubble(s), but there is NO peaceful way out of this. We either face the NWO and defeat them utterly, or we accept them as our lords and masters and give up all our freedoms.

 

There is no middle ground that will work for us. It's us or them.

War Spirit vs war psychs

Wounded Warrior Project just put up an ad claiming to "help wounded warriors forget".

 

NO! NO! NO! A thousand times, NO!

 

War changes you. A LOT! The lazy psychs who claim to deal with it lump the changes under the heading of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome). That's the way the APA (American Psychological Association) does things - sloppily. Don't believe me? Grab a DSM, 0pen it. Look at the way it organizes not-normal behaviors. Enough said.

 

Back to wounded WARRIORS (emphasis mine). The psychs TOTALLY fail to account for the Warrior's SPIRIT.

 

Warfighting is NEVER a natural human condition. You have to be trained to fight. However, it's up to the individual Warrior to strengthen his or her war-Spirit. Most Warriors do that, whether they mean to or not. It's part of focussing on war. Once your war-Spirit is strong, only Death can interrupt it. Not idiocy in leadership, not idiotic ROEs, not inferior weaponry, only YOU and Death can hurt your war-Spirit.

 

Along come the psychs telling us that PTSD-wounded warriors must be taught to obliterate their war-Spirit, to suppress it.

 

Here's news you can use, bonehead psychs, you are doing it completely ass-backwards. A Warrior with his/her head in the wrong place needs to FIND and STRENGTHEN their war-Spirit, not suppress it.

 

Your strong war-Spirit got you through your wars, got you home alive, even if damaged, and that war-Spirit will now let you come to grips with the horrors that WERE in all that fighting. It will let you heal yourself back to the level you had when you fought your best fight.

 

You are a Warrior. No one can take that away, and if they try, they are the enemy, trying to do behind your back what they couldn't do to your face on your battlefields.

 

Keep fighting, my brothers and sisters. God will relieve you of Warrior duty when it's your turn to be relieved. I have your back. You have mine. We fight together. If there is Peace to be found, we will find it together.

All you effwads who kept telling me that Trump has this magic, his personal "I can out-deal anyone" schtick? Well Trump's "diplomacy" has worked just WHERE? You claim it worked with 'Lil Kimmy. He's laughing at you, shooting missiles every day. You claim it worked with the PROC's Chairman Xi: he's killing us with Fentanyl, which he promised YOU that he would ban the export of.

You now say you can "deal" with the Taliban? You just doomed thousands of Afghans who fought on our side. You just doomed the sane people in Pakistan, who control their NUKES, and will now be forced to give a few to the Islamists, to use on Israel, which causes them to use theirs and the Middle East will glow for milennia. I'm beginning to believe the entire "DTS" rubric is a NWO "maskirovka", a deception move. Trump is THEIR man, looks like to me.

Now it ALL makes sense that he didn't boot very many "Obama Generals" from the Pentagon: he needs their surrendering "expertise" to get us out of yet another war we had previously won. Remember back after 9-11-01, when we sent the 10th Mountain Division there, with NO ROE's, and they kicked ass and cleaned house in less than a year? I remember that. Then we removed the 10th Mountain and sent in the Lawyers, who started arresting our OWN troops for violating suicidal ROEs. Me? No, I was retired in '95, but I went to SE Asia to fight for the USA FIFTY years ago, was there 3 years, then we just quit THAT war.

BTW, I was personally involved in an aborted bombing mission that was the first example of that quitting. I was Wave Lead Navigator on that mission guiding 18 BUFFs into Laos, when Nixon allowed Kissinger to rat out our target to NVA General Giap. My target was the entire POL supply for the NVA armored push through Laos into the Parrot's Beak and South Vietnam. We could have killed all that NVA armor when it ran out of fuel, just like in the Battle of the Bulge in WW2, but Kissinger sold out the target to the NVA just for a PROMISE of "peace talks", which the NVA reneged on just hours later, but by the time a second attack on the POL supply was organized, the enemy had dispersed most of it (it was on 30,000-gallon fuel lighters in an arm of the Ton Le Sap Lake). Over a dozen steel barges I had under the crosshairs on my bombing radar. At 120 seconds to bomb release, we got the coded abort message and went to our secondary target, some truck parks on the Trail. Nope, that's MY 'Nam PTSD, knowing that I, PERSONALLY, might have helped to WIN the damn war and they wouldn't let me. We now will do that again, so I'm angry.

How angry? Well, I know lots of Veterans, and if my 'suasion is still any good, NONE of them will vote for Trump if he pulls this shit.
